A Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a digital record containing key information about a product's sustainability, material composition, and authenticity throughout its lifecycle. The EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) has been in force since July 2024, and DPP requirements apply product group by product group as the Commission adopts delegated acts. Textiles and iron & steel are among the first priority groups, while the EU Battery Regulation's battery passport applies from 18 February 2027. See how it works on the UseSafe platform.
Product data including carbon footprint, material composition, repair history, and recycling information is presented from verified sources, giving consumers clear insights into the environmental and technical characteristics of products.
DPP promotes extending product life, repairability, and reuse, contributing to waste reduction and supporting the transition to a more sustainable and circular economy model.
Adopting sustainable production and design practices helps businesses differentiate themselves in the market and build stronger relationships with environmentally conscious consumers.
GS1 Türkiye Solution Partner
Every UseSafe product record is keyed by its GTIN and every passport opens from a QR code. Support for GS1 Digital Link and EPCIS 2.0 is on our roadmap.
Our DPP solution cuts the administrative effort of ESPR compliance by capturing product data once and reusing it across passports, labels and declarations, accelerating market access. Our integrated platform ensures alignment with overlapping regulatory standards, reducing duplicated efforts.

DPP operates by storing data collected at each stage of a product on a decentralized, transparent, and reliable infrastructure. Thanks to the immutability and distributed structure provided by blockchain technology:
Information about the product (e.g., production date, materials used, energy consumption) is recorded and verified at each stage, ensuring complete traceability throughout the supply chain.
Consumers, retailers, manufacturers, and regulatory bodies can easily access information about the product's history, creating transparency across the entire value chain.
As Dorukwell, we offer specialized consulting and technology solutions for digital product passport applications. Whether it's data integration in the production process, supply chain traceability, or certification processes, we support our customers in meeting regulations and achieving sustainability goals.
